Biobridges project gave its best, to create awareness about the project, in two events addressing key sustainability issues.
Biobridges project connects, facilitates and supports the collaboration among brands, bio-based industries and consumers aiming to improve the marketability and market acceptance of bio-based products (BBPs).
In order to achieve this goal, Biobridges has actively participated in 2 high-level events aiming at spreading the word about the project’s objectives and activities, as well as, engaging relevant stakeholders, from the bioeconomy field, into our activities.
Thus, represented by the Biobridges’ partner, ASEBIO, the project was at BIOVAL-Digitalization and Sustainability of the Biotechnology Sector which took place on 27 of November 2018 in Valencia, Spain, and at the IV Forum of Rural Innovation taken place on 8 of November 2018 in Caceres, Spain. Both events counted with the presence of companies acting in the bioeconomy sector, producers of bio-based feedstock and policy makers.
This has been a great opportunity to stimulate an active interaction and discussion among stakeholders, gaining useful insights to be considered in our activities towards improving the market acceptance of Bio-Based Products, obtaining more knowledge about the development of bioeconomy in rural areas, and contributing with ideas to favour plans in bioeconomy at regional level.
